Toyota Headquarters - Torrance: 1967

This is a 1967 aerial photo of the Toyota Motor Sales headquarters building, just west of the 190th Street and Gramercy Place intersection. The camera is pointing east of north.

The grand opening for the 67,000 square foot building was held on February 13, 1967, although the unofficial opening was in December 1966.

Toyota still owns this property, which is currently a parking lot. The buildings for Toyota's sprawling campus are now located south and east of this location.  The "TOYOTA" sign located in the parking lot in the upper-left of the photo (next to the I-405 freeway) is still there today.
