Sartori and Cabrillo: 1963

This is a photo from 1963 looking down Sartori Avenue from Cabrillo Avenue. The photo was taken with the camera facing northwest.

The building on the right is the former Bank of Italy and the future La Capilla restaurant. The center island that ran down the center of Sartori is visible in this photo.  With the redevelopment of Old Torrance in the 1990's, the center island was removed and the space was used for wider sidewalks.
