Cabrillo Avenue: 192?

This is a photo from the 1920's of Cabrillo Avenue at Carson Street. The photo was taken with the camera facing north.

The Torrance spur line for the Pacific Electric Red Cars ran right down the center of Cabrillo.  Both of the buildings that are visible in the photo still exist (you can see these buildings in the bottom left of this aerial photo).  The 5 Points building on the left side of the intersection currently houses a pawn shop and apartments and the building on the right side currently houses Ding How, a Chinese restaurant, as well as a youth hostel. Here's the same view in 2005 ...
