Torrance / Pacific Electric Buildings: 1925

This is a 1925 aerial photo of the construction/maintenance buildings for the Pacific Electric in Torrance. The camera is facing a little bit north of due east.

When this photograph was taken, as you can see, the vacant fields surrounding this area were not yet developed. At the very bottom-right of the picture, you can see the AT&SF Railroad right of way.  Later, a railroad bridge was added to carry trains over what would become Crenshaw Blvd.
