Redondo Beach Pier Aerial: 1924

This is a 1924 aerial photo of the Endless Pier and the surrounding area in Redondo Beach.  The camera is facing southeast.

The Hotel Redondo is just above the horseshoe pier. Part of the old saltwater lagoon is visible in the lower left corner.  What is now Redondo High School is visible in the middle left of the photo (the group of buildings with the stairway/walkway leading from the corner).  The Central Public School (rectangular building next to the dirt lot) is visible just to the left of the center of the picture. The site of the school is now a senior's housing complex.
