Torrance Depot: 191?

This is a early 20th Century photo of the Pacific Electric Depot in downtown Torrance. In this photograph we are looking a little north of due east.

Behind the depot is the California Shoe Manufacturing Company building. Since the shoe company ceased operations in this building in February 1915, the photo is probably from the mid-to-late 1910's. The Pacific Electric viaduct over what is now Torrance Blvd (El Prado at the time) is visible to the left of the shoe building.
